2010 Homecoming Festival Fireworks Saturday June 26, 2010 10:15 p.m.
FIREWORKS PARKING AND TRAFFIC ROUTES
Please consider these exit directions when parking your vehicle for the Columbia Homecoming fireworks on Saturday June 26, 2010. If everyone follows these directions, it will make the time required getting home after the fireworks much shorter. We ask that Vehicles not be park along sides of roadways, but that everyone use designated parking areas.
All lots located on the north side of St. Rt. 82 (Royalton Rd), west of West River Rd, will exit WEST. These lots include the school board property, VFW Hall, and the parking lot by the tennis courts.
All lots on the south side of St.Rt. 82 (Royalton Rd), will exit EAST. This includes the Copopa Elementary and High School and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
The Columbia Middle School parking lot will exit NORTH on West River Rd.
Anyone parking in the library or around the Columbia Baptist Church will be on their own getting into traffic on the road.
All driveways with road blocks on them will be closed and vehicles going around these barricades will be the last let out, after the open drives to the above parking lots have cleared.
All pedestrian traffic will be directed to cross St. Rt. 82 at the intersection of Rt. 82 and West River Rd., and by the VFW driveway by St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
Please wait in groups and cross at one time, when the fireman directing traffic directs you to cross.
Variable nominal fees for parking in various lots the night of the fireworks.
The Volunteer Firemen will be directing traffic, so be patient and we will get everyone home safe and as quickly as possible.
