MORE ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Murray Ridge Production Center, Inc. is Lorain County’s largest employer for persons with developmental disabilities. As a non-profit service of the Lorain County Board of MR / DD, the Murray Ridge Production Center and its employees have been proudly providing cost effective contract services for local business for over 30 years. Our diversified labor pools of over 600 people specialize in quick turnaround of high volume, labor-intensive projects.
The Murray Ridge Production Center operates three work activity centers in Elyria, Lorain, and Oberlin. Combined the three centers offer more than 50,000 square feet of production space. The work activity centers provide a dependable and dedicated workforce to handle various services such as assembly, light manufacturing, and packaging to name a few.
Our service called Community Employment provides businesses the opportunity to have work teams being sent to their site. The Murray Ridge Production Center will provide a team leader to train and supervise the employees that are on-site. Businesses can decide on the number of hours to be worked, number of workers needed, length of the work day, and duration of the job.
The Document Management Center is the Murray Ridge Production Center’s newest service. We are professionally equipped to handle document scanning needs. The center can offer document scanning, indexing, and file preparation services to a variety of businesses.
The Murray Ridge Production Center is a non-profit service of the Lorain County Board of MR / DD. The overall mission of the agency is to ensure the availability of services and supports that assist eligible individuals in living the life they choose; to promote their health and safety; and to assist and support the families of these individuals in achieving these goals. Programs have been successfully operating for more than forty years. A large portion of that success relies upon an informed, caring, and supportive public.
